Cup of tea lowered by Rs. 30, fixed at Rs. 100: Assn.

The All Island Canteen Owners' Association (AICOA) has taken steps to reduce the price of a cup of black and milk tea effective from tonight.

Association head Asela Sampath said the decisiopn was taken following the price of LITRO gas which was brought down considerably from yesterday.

Accordingly, the price of a cup of Tea will be reduced by Rs. 30 and the new price of a cup of Milk Tea will be fixed at Rs. 100. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
