Certain sections of Telecommunication Amendment Bill inconsistent with Constitution: SC

Parliament, June 18 (Daily Mirror) - The Supreme Court has informed that some sections of the Telecommunication Amendment Bill are inconsistent with the Constitution, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena announced in Parliament today.

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena also announced that the Supreme Court has informed him that the inconsistencies could be rectified if the proposed amendments are entertained.
