Cabraal resigns as CBSL Governor

Ajith Nivard Cabraal said today he had tendered his resignation to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Cabraal in a tweet said that in context of all ministers resigning, he had submitted his resignation as the CBSL Governor to President Rajapaksa. 

The Daily Mirror learns that Cabraal was summoned to the cabinet meeting at Temple Trees last night and was questioned what his policies were. He also got into a verbal spat with some senior ministers. (Jamila Husain)
