Belgian national arrested over Rs. 63 million fraud

Colombo, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested a Belgian national at the Katunayake Airport for allegedly defrauding over Rs. 63 million from an individual. 

Police said the suspect had obtained Rs. 63,818,452 from an individual by promising several construction projects. However, he failed to deliver and was arrested on charges of breach of trust and fraud.
