19 names of National List MPs gazetted

Nineteen names of Members of Parliament selected to the 9th Parliament under National List system had been published in a Special Gazette notification yesterday.

Accordingly, names of 17 MPs of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and one each from the Illankai Tamil Arasu Katchi (ITAK) and the Ahila Ilankai Thamil Congress (AITC) have been published by the Election Commission.

However, the National List seats of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), United National Party (UNP), Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) and Our Power of People Party (OPPP) are yet to be Gazetted.
