Some 115 suspects of the 293 arrested in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks have been produced in the respective magistrate courts and remanded, while 178 suspects remain under detention, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.
He told the media that statements had already been recorded from 81 people who had been injured in the bomb attack at the St Anthony's Shrine, Kochchikade.
The 293 suspects had been arrested for abetting the mastermind of the Easter Sunday terrorist attack, activists of the banned terrorist group and those who had undergone weapons training.
Among those detained, 62 are being held by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), 47 at the Terrorist Investigations Division (TID), 41 at the Colombo Crime Division (CCD), 16 at the Ampara Division, four at the Mount Lavinia Division, four at the Colombo South Division, three at the Nugegoda Division and one suspect at the Kandy Division.
