A cargo containing the total volume of four million doses of Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 Vaccine vials arrived at the Colombo airport this morning, the airport duty manager said.
The consignment, weighing 16,192kg and packed in 42 boxes with dry ice, landed at around 4.48 am. The cargo was freighted by SriLankan airlines from Beijing.
According to a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy, Sri Lanka has procured 22 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine from China. (T.K.G Kapila)

Great news. Sri Lanka has vaccinate million of people with the Sinopharm Vaccine now. Can our medical professionals let the public know of the efficacy of this vaccine in Sri Lanka. I hope such data has not been erased mistakenly.
