All-party government should be formed only after Prez, PM resign: SJB

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) said a new all party government has to be formed only after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe resign from their posts.

SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said in a statement that the proposal put forward by his party has been approved by majority of party leaders.

"We proposed that both President and Prime Minister should resign. Speaker should be appointed as acting President and an all party government should be formed," Mr. Madduma Bandara said.(Yohan Perera)

All party govt or national govt is not going to solve the problems with the same "Olu Gedis" in Diyawannawa. Let the people Elect their President, PM and MP's by an Election as soon as possible. Therefore shortlist and filter the best candidates for your parties.

we need ministers to work towards solving the issues in the country with a team efforts. ministers to be selected by a general election appointed by the public not by the president. that way the people will be happy.
