NDB CEO Dimantha Seneviratne and the senior management of National Development Bank PLC celebrated the first working day of the year 2022 at their Nawam Mawatha head office, under the stipulated health guidelines.
Following the performing of religious rites and the traditional lighting of the oil lamp, the bank commenced its activities for the new year with ‘renewed resolve’ to deliver the best in banking solutions for its customers.
In his address, whilst outlining the key achievements of the past year Seneviratne also mentioned that the foundations laid in initiatives such as the One NDB culture, investments in technology and process improvements are now paying dividends. He also reiterated the fact that the bank will remain dedicated to supporting its customers get back on their feet and manage the recovery process prioritising the customer’s business recovery in 2022. Seneviratne closed by wishing all NDB customers, staff and their families a healthy, peaceful and prosperous new year.
