Colombo, Jan. 3 (Daily Mirror) - SSC cruised through to their sixth win of the ongoing Major Club limited over cricket tournament with a convincing 97 run win over Chilaw Marians CC in the match played at SSC ground.
The foundation for the win was laid by Shevon Daniel, Krishan Sanjula and Ranuda Somaratne who cracked half tons for SSC taking first lease of the wicket to make a formidable score of 285 and Chilaw Marians CC in their run chase was able to muster a score of only 188 runs.
In the other matches that were played saw NCC along with Colts CC, CCC, Ragama CC and Army SC winning their matches.
