People in those countries live with hazardous weather conditions and yet they are developed. Main reason is that majority respect law and order and the politicians are not corrupt. Since people are not corrupt they do not appoint corrupt persons to be their leaders. Since majority of people in Sri Lanka are corrupt and selfish, their leaders are naturally corrupt too. It is a never ending situation. It can only be ended with a tough military rule or a by radical rule like JVP.

Majority of Singhalease Buddhists elected their leaders since 1948. Please do not misquote Majority of people. Srilanka will NEVER RETURN TO NORMALCY.Again JVP real racist party. The best political settlement Minority could ever give it to Srilanka is to make her Bankrupt. They have achieved that goal.
