IRD opens e-filing platform for 2025/2026 income tax returns

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has opened its e-service platform for the submission of income tax returns for the year of assessment 2025/2026, urging the taxpayers to file their returns electronically before the November deadline.

In a public notice, the IRD said the taxpayers can now submit returns under several categories, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Partnership Income Tax (PIT), Individual Income Tax (IIT) and IIT Simplified Return, through its online platform.

It said all income tax returns for the relevant assessment year must be filed electronically on or before November 30, 2026, in compliance with the statutory requirements.

The IRD urged the taxpayers to submit their returns well in advance to avoid last-minute difficulties and ensure compliance with the tax regulations.

The taxpayers have also been advised to visit the department’s official website for updated information, guidelines and assistance related to the filing process.
