CID takes over probe into Seya’s killing

The investigation into the killing of five-year-old Seya Sedewmini’s has been handed over to the CID by IGP N.K. Illangakoon, Acting Police Spokesman SSP Priyantha Jayakody said today.

    Good move.CID do an excellent job under difficulties but local police should given opportunities to handle difficult investigations with guidance otherwise morale will go down. Senior officers should know this, Specially the IGP.
