TID to request them to be sent to remand custody appear to be washing their hands off the matter. If JMO reports were called for both that would have been ideal

The two in custody have now completed 90 days in remand under the PTA. Although this was challenged, nothing has happened so far.Even if the Govt. action is now declared as against the law, how will these two benefit for the suffering experienced from travesty of Law.

So far no charges placed for either of the arrested while they were languishing in a jail and occasionally shepherded around, hither whither. So, is there no time limit for the Attorney General's advice? To have it thus open ended must be the perfect travesty of justice.

Protests should go on for the release of these two students. This will show Mr.Batalanda that people are always alert and no hanky panky can befall them. If these protests sends negative messages to the international community when tourist arrivals in the country are picking up, then the government should release these two.

This is a gross and heinous miscarriage of justice by the wretched regime determined to rule the country by pure terror callously suppressing the fundamental rights of the people. This sordid situation was triggered due to the mass scale looting and gross mismanagement by those in power, especially during the last three years and these continue unabated.
