Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka was appointed as the Minister of Sustainable Development, Wildlife and Regional Development.

Minister Daya Gamage was appointed as the Minister of Social Welfare and Primary Industries.

    The Field Marshal,probably the greatest military strategist living on this planet,being offered to look after the interests of the Sri Lankan wild life.Maybe the next appointment for him could be supervising salt production in Elephant Pass.
