Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today requested that the true situation of the foreign reserves in the country and monthly economic situation reports be presented to Parliament.

Fully agreed. Ranil is the greatest president that Sri Lanka never had, unfortunately. When people realise the value of him, it will be too late.

We are in this soup since Ranil did not take action on those guilty (and now talking big under SLPP) during the yahapalanaya time.

Very well thought. Cabral is clever to fix financial statements to satisfy the Rajapaksa family.Non of them are capable of interpreting a financial statement.SWAP and credit lines are not reserves.By removing the above Two, our reserves will be bellow US$1 BILLION.

Parliament has full authority over the finances of the state so in a deteriorating situation it's the right of the Parliament to know exactly where the finances are even on a weekly basis.
