Popular Singer and leader of the Gypsies band, Sunil Perera who was admitted to hospital with the COVID-19 infection is recovering well and rumors pertaining to his death are false.
Family sources confirmed that Perera was responding well to treatment as he was admitted at a private hospital in Colombo.
Perera has been put on oxygen as he is suffering from breathing difficulties.
