A friend of mine has been a fighter pilot in the German Luftwaffe (Air force) and crashed a fighter jet. He was never allowed to fly again, which is normal for crash pilots, whether the crash was their fault or not.

Very sad, life fizzles out like vaporising. Nothing is certain in this journey of life.

What was the reason behind MIG-27 crashing? What is the reason behind this same Pilots crash on a PT-6? Is this Pilot suitable for flying high speed aircrafts or recruited due to Politics? Remember, Mahinda's son Yoshitha is a Senior Officer in the Navy, do you think he has the practice and ability to command a ship other than doing Political Henching for the father?

If his jet crashed once, then why was he allowed to fly again?
What's the retirement age for PT-6's Tuesday, 08 August 2023 01:34 PM
I was born in 1960 and I'm about to retire. These PT-6's were born in 1958. When do you think it is an appropriate time to retire these aircraft?

First crashed was identified as a technical fault of the Jet after long investigation. He tried his best to land or drop the Jet as much as possible to a rural area. No one dead due to his heroic work. Unfortunately we all have to leave this life when time comes.

Every aircraft on the SL airforce has passed its used by date. All they do is spend millions to plug holes in them. The government needs to be blamed for this. They need to look into the future. Save money now and purchase new or recant fighter jets and planes.
