The appointment of the Commander of the Army to head the task force to fight a virus is pure genius. He locked down the country when the attack was single digit infection and keeps the country open when the infection rate is over 1000. We must be thankful to HE for his wisdom. We are really heading towards Saubhagiye Dekma!!

They say we can’t go for a lockdown because of the poor economy. Funny how the ordinary people struggling for daily wages have to pay the price in the end for the ridiculous economy in the country. If we are to face the fate of India, it will be the common people who would be fighting the battle for oxygen in the end.

Who is asking for a complete lockdown of the country? No one. World lessons show the only way to slow the spread is short snap lockdowns. Eg. Lockdown Colombo city for 3 days and test high density areas within the city to identify sub clusters and act on them. The 3 days could be over the weekend, so minimise impact on work and the economy. Act now before the bloods in your hands.
