The Fort police has obtained a court order against carrying out protest demonstrations in the Colombo Fort area, from 3 pm to 6 pm today, citing inconvenience to the public and vehicle movement.
The Fort Magistrate’s Court had issued the court order against SJB MPs Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Sarath Fonseka, Mujibur Rahman, Nalin Bandara, Ashok Abeysinghe and other participants
Accordingly, the court ordered preventing any attempts to stage a protest between 3p.m. and 6p.m. today (30) obstructing the public and vehicle movement on the roads within the Fort Police Division.
