90 SL domestic aides stranded in Oman

How credible are the info shared by SL embassy. What is reported is the embassy's version. The women who sought refuge at SL embassy were/are being exploited and sexual favours demanded to help them return home by non other than the embassy staff. Those who did not concede were urged by the embassy staff to work illegally to earn their tickets back home. See the level to which SL's morality has deteriorated. Why blame only Danushka Gunathilaka, when immorality is business as usual in entire SL and the people pride on it. Recollect/observe the numerous incidents against tourists taking place on a daily basis. Haven't heard any offender receiving any punishment. We only hear about presidential pardons for convicted criminals. Probably the only country with only an entirely corrupt and criminal population in the world. Sadly there is nothing left to salvage in SL. I won't be surprised if this comment is not published like my previous ones.

They should take the video footage gets interview and gives their opinion and warn orther vulnerable laddies how to avoid and how to get the proper channel.dont know why TV channels hi light this.

We were of the belief that when we were killing our minorities we were protecting ourselves and our country. What we were doing was incrementally destroying our country and impoverishing it and have now worked to bring it to the current beggar status

The UAE and Oman Embassies in SL too should take the blame for issuing Visit and Tourist Visas indiscriminately !

Can anyone go to the the UAE or Oman embassies and request for a tourist or visit Visa? Will it be granted to anyone who applies without any condition? If a local or overseas sponsor is available, can a person go out of the country on a one way ticket to the two countries mentioned, without an employment agency involved? If an employment agency is responsible in helping people to obtain a one way tourist or visit visa, who is responsible for their wellbeing once they land in UAE or Oman? Will there be a sponsor available with a work permit to take them out of the respective airports? What happens to these gullible or duped women who land there and have to fend for themselves in a strange place? As a policy immediately cancel EVERY such employment agency and their directors ,never to be able open another agency under any other name. Recover all monies from these unscrupulous companies and debit into the accounts of the duped women who were tricked into going to these countries thru th

How can one trust a Sri Lankan embassy official and seek for help when they too lick their lips for glee. Poor innocent women. Do something quick and stone and behead the culprits.
