Katunayake, Feb 23 (Daily Mirror) - Immigration officers at the Katunayake Airport arrested two Sri Lankan youths attempting to flee to Europe using counterfeit "Greek" tourist visas during the early hours today.

The individuals, identified as a 34-year-old resident of Vavuniya and a 26-year-old resident of Jaffna, were intercepted at the airport's arrival terminal.

The duo intended to board Qatar Airways flight QRR-663 bound for Doha, scheduled to depart at 4:35 AM on February 23. From Doha, their plan involved transiting to Paris, France, and ultimately reaching Munich, Germany.

Authorities foiled their attempt during routine screening procedures.

26 and 34 year olds are not youth but adults. From the age of 18 you are an adult and of legal age.
