Train services restricted to Rambukkana following Ihal Kotte derailment

Colombo, Oct. 19 (Daily Mirror) - All train operations on the Main Line have been restricted to Rambukkana Railway Station, the Railways Department said today.

The decision comes after a mound of earth collapsed onto a carriage of Intercity Express Train No. 1010, which derailed near Ihal Kotte Railway Station. Officials are assessing the situation and working to restore normal services as soon as possible.
