What you mean VEHICLE SKIDDING OFF THE ROAD. Funny excuse?? Good find out..
Careful driver Monday, 15 April 2024 12:13 PM
Skidding is very often caused by, balled tyres, speeding, reckless driving and poor road conditions. There should be speed control by at least having speed bumps or police speed checks at dangerous places.

It is very sad to note each year our accident rate is going higher. Why is it? Despite all eduction and demonstration and advice from police why this high rate of accident.. Careless driving is primary reason . Drivers think they own the roads and no respect to all other drivers . Race driving and overtaking illegally . Unless the government hold some strick rules on this..there is no hope . I feel sorry for all those victims . Innocent people die for nothing ...

Oh so now it is not drunk driving but poor driving skills, because when a vehicle skids, it means the driver is not in control of the vehicle given the circumstances. Now police, you must make a law to gift yourself Rs. 10,000 for each skid that happens.

Cars are evil, they skid off the road and kill people. So stay away from cars and walk.
Doubt we will know the actual causes of the accidents/deaths. Monday, 15 April 2024 10:25 PM
Bald Tyres can cause a vehicle to skid and if the driver hasn't his two hands on the steering wheel and is not focused, he will lose control of the vehicle. Speeding and trying to overtake on the wrong side too is a possibility. If the driver was drunk, he would have lost control of the vehicle. Sad may their Souls RIP.
Drivers not in control of vehicles. Tuesday, 16 April 2024 06:06 AM
Human life has become the cheapest commodity in this nation. Every excuse is given for the death, but there is no excuse for not avoiding these losses. Basically, it is human error. Period. Vehicle was under the control of a driver in the past. It is not any more.

Am no expert, skidding due to excessive speed. Unable to control the vehicle. SL should have driver education system and drivers under 30 years must pass driving test every 2 years. Then between 30 - 50 years every 3 years. And high time to introduce effective demerit points system for all traffic offences except for parking violations.

Most SL drivers are very ignorant, no respect for traffic rules. The errant drivers knows they can getaway with any offences by offering BRIBES. Drivers Don't want to share the road with other drivers. Most of all, have no patience or common courtesy while driving, period.
