President discusses issues in developing cricket in Sri Lanka



Colombo, July 27 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake held a meeting with the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) 

Transformation Committee where he discussed the issues and challenges faced in developing cricket in Sri Lanka. 

The meeting was held at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said. 

The President also considered the support and contribution that could be provided by the Government towards the continued progress and advancement of cricket in the country.

Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage, Chief of Staff to the President Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee Eran Wickramaratne and committee members Roshan Mahanama, Avanthi Colombage, Upul Kumarapperuma, Thushira Radella, Sidath Wettimuny and Dinal Philip also participated in the meeting.
