Colombo, July 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan rupee weakened further against the US dollar today, with the dollar's selling rate crossing the Rs. 340 mark, according to the latest daily exchange rates released by the Central Bank.
The Central Bank's daily exchange rate data showed the selling rate of the US dollar rose to Rs. 340.8686 on July 9, while the buying rate was recorded at Rs. 331.3476.
On the previous day, July 8, the US dollar's selling rate stood at Rs. 339.7382, with the buying rate at Rs. 330.2889.
