President to address nation tomorrow

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will address the nation in a special statement tomorrow, the Presidential Secretariat said.

Sources said the speech will be on the present health situation and the steps taken to address the COVID-19 situation as well as the economic situation of the country. (Jamila Husain)

I hope the President will address burning issues directly and honestly than just trying to sugar-coated. I know public speaking is not him strength but that is not we expected from him, our expectation still is for him to act decisively, fairly and to the benefit of the country... not a selected few. If he is truthful, there is still a possibility for his former supported like me to again look upto him with confidence. Good luck Mr. President.
