This is what everyone wanted. So why the complaints and sarcasm even now? Let a parliamentary vote be taken. Let parliament be dissolved and we can go for a general election straightaway. Then no one will have a doubt about the people's mandate, the democratic process will be respected, the international community can hold on to their knickers and we can all get on with our lives.
