Ground frost possible at some places in Nuwara-Eliya district during early hours

Colombo, Jan 23 (Daily Mirror) - The forecasting division of the National Meteorological Centre said today that there is a possibility of ground frost at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district during the early hours of the morning.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning.

Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the Galle and Matara districts after 4 p.m.

Mainly fair weather will prevail in the other areas of the island.
