Chilaw Hospital OPD to reopen

Colombo, Dec.2 (Daily Mirror) - The Outpatients' Department (OPD) of the Chilaw District General Hospital, which was temporarily closed due to adverse weather conditions, will reopen to the public tomorrow (03), hospital authorities said.

Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Dinesh Koggalage stated that the electricity supply to the hospital was restored yesterday (01), while water supply was reinstated today (02).

He added that efforts are underway to repair all units damaged by the disaster and to resume normal health services as quickly as possible.
