Cardinal calls upon all Catholics in Sri Lanka to help disaster victims
Colombo, Nov. 29 (Daily Mirror) - Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith today urged all Catholic priests and associations within parish churches to get together in helping the disaster hit families and persons.
"Consider all disaster affected people as your brothers and sisters and lend a helping hand," he said while issuing a special statement.
"We are saddened about the disaster and pray that the situation would ease soon," he added.
