CID records statement from IGP
Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has recorded a statement from Police Chief Pujith Jayasundara this morning over the Anti-Corruption Force convener Namal Kumara’s allegations, police said.
They said that the latest statement was recorded as a part of the investigations into the alleged assassination plot on President Maithripala Sirisena and former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
