Very disorganized road, buildings and drainage system in the city. Typical example of shanty dwellers.

It’s flooding due to corrupted authourities of pradeshiya sabhawe and useless bribe grabbing AGA OFFICE employees including AGA are main culprits. AKURANA people has to put up with these useless bribe grabbers plus all these years they Have not received a single rupee as a compensation since 1992 to-date as flooding happens every other week nowadays.. What action has responsible authorities taken?Most of the problem will be solved if the sand evacuation is allowed freely and illegal bridges should be taken down ..but AKURANA pradeshiya sabha is well known for corruption and no proper service been offered to the city for a long time now.
