Practically all members of the anti-corruption committee of the yahapalanaya regime are reportedly facing charges according to the report of the commission appointed to investigate political victimization.
Most of these members are said to be now in the ‘Telephone’ party. So, that party boss had planned to make a collective effort to meet the challenge. He had called on the Green party boss as part of the plan.
He is due to call on the ‘Compass’ chief as well, they say.
However, the latest reports say that the high-ups of both the Green party and the Compass party are opposed to allying with the ‘Telephone’ party in seeking a legal solution to the impending action against those faulted by the commission report. So, they had decided to go it alone in taking whatever action deemed necessary, they say.
So, the plan to make a collective effort to meet the challenge is destined to come to naught, they say.
