Sony Partners Singer To Sell Full Range Of Consumer And Electronic Products

Japanese electronics giant Sony recently partnered with Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC to distribute its entire range of consumer and electronic products in Sri Lanka at a ceremony held at the BMICH.


“We will see further sales growth and further enhancement of life for Sony users in the country. We are proud to partner Singer, the market leader with great innovative spirit and sales power,” Sony South East Asia Chief Representative for Sri Lanka Alex Yee said.He further added that the partnership will allow Sony to launch its latest products in the Sri Lanka market while continuing its dealings with traditional partner Siedles (Pvt) Ltd.Meanwhile Singer Marketing and Commercial Director Mahesh Wijewardene said that Sony is the most desired brand by Sri Lankans and the milestone will create further accessibility for Sony products in the country.


The event also unveiled the new range of Bravia 4k TV, LED and HD TVs, in addition to showcasing its digital cameras, walkman audio products, Xperia mobile and tablet devices, home entertainment systems and electronic parts which will be available at Singer stores island wide.Sony also launched the robust Bravia R350B and R306B Xtra Protection TVs which have no ventilation holes and are protected by improved coatings to shield the TVs from humidity, surge, lightning, dust, insects and pests which damage electronic equipment frequently in Sri Lanka.


Due to the partnership, Sony consumers across the country will be able to enjoy Singer’s after sales services through its 400 retail outlets, 8 regional services centres and over 150 service outlets.
