Opening of 25th ‘Little Library’ project assisted by CUP

The children of Siddhartha Children’s Society, Thalwita, Seeradunna, Kurunegala were able to start a ‘Little Library’ on their own with the support of the Children’s Upliftment Programme (CUP) on November 9, 2013.

The concept of ‘Little Library’ is to enhance the ability of reading among children and encourage them towards creative writing, providing them with opportunities to learn leadership skills, team work, organising patterns and sharing with others, through their experience.

Mr.Niranga Hettiarachchi, CEO of Infotainment (Pvt) Ltd, is the key sponsor of this project.  

Mr. Jayalath Priyantha, Development Officer of the Divisional Secretariat, Seeradunna, the Grama Niladhari of Seeradunna, together with CUP officials Mr. Harsha Gomes, Mrs.Nadee Dissanayake, Mr. Nishantha Perera and Mrs.Dilhara Karunanayake also participated in this event.

The staff of Infotainment (Pvt) Ltd., Mr. Imal Gunasekara, Mrs. Sunethra Malwattage and Mrs. Padma Pinnawalage graced  the occasion.
