JVPers Wasantha and Chandrika meet Che’s daughter

The Members of the Central Committee of the JVP Wasantha Samarasinghe and Chandrika Adhikari are in Kathmandu in Nepal to participate in the 9th Asia – Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba.  

They have met Dr Aleida Guevara, daughter of Ernesto Che Guevara who was present as a special guest of the Conference and presented an album of photographs of the ‘Che Garden’ being maintained by the Socialist Youth Union (SYU) at Horana.  

The CC Member of the JVP Wasantha Samarasinghe addressed the Conference on Cuba’s contribution to the downtrodden people in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Oceania.
