While people were definitely asking Google about movie releases, election results and even updates of the Royal Wedding, the search engine’s review data shows that people were also searching for “good”.
According to the inspirational footage that was released by Google in December, the most popular internet searches of 2018 were about “good” things and how we can be better people. The montage was created as a result of the company’s year-end research of their search engine trends.
“In a year of ups and downs, the world searched for “good” more than ever before - according to Google Trends,” the video caption read. “From the epic headlines to the everyday moments, here’s to all the good that people discovered in 2018.”
