Only if you live in Europe or North America, you would appreciate how lucky Sri Lanka is in terms of weather albeit occasional storms and heavy rain. For example in Britain it would be considered extraordinary if there could be even just 30 days in a year with good weather conditions, about 90% of the time it is very cold and extremely windy and rainy, and about 9% of the time it is unbearably burning hot.

My family of 30 people from Bangladesh visited Sri Lanka from 23 June to 6 July. Altogether 34 of us traveled to Dambulla, Sigiriya Rock, Minneriya National Park, Kandy, Nuara Eliya, Horton Plains, Galle, Hikkaduwa and different corners of Colombo. The SL tourism industry should be encouraged by this trip.
