An independent investigation should be carried out to determine how the fire at Supreme Court Complex in Hultsdorp had broken out, Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa said yesterday.
Mr. premadasa made this remark when he visited the complex on an inspection tour last morning.
“We thank the firefighters, police and the security officers for dousing the fire without leaving room for much damage.
However an independent investigation should be conducted to determine how the fire had started, ”mr. premadasa said. Meanwhile SJB MP Manusha Nanayakkara told a press conference that there were suspicions among the people about how the fire had begun. “people suspect that the fire must have been an act of Sabotage as it may have been ignited by someone who wanted to end the pending court cases by destroying the documentary evidence. however he or she had failed, even if it was an act of sabotage, as the fire had caused only minimal damages, ”the MP said.
“However an investigation should be conducted to determine the real story behind the fire, ”he added.(Yohan Perera)

Very soon we will have to appoint a commission to overlook all these commissions. BTW We all have to assume this as a sabotage with politicians involved
