The Kelaniya Perahera was held on 27th January, 2021, following strict health guidelines. The Chief Incumbent of the temple, Ven. Prof. Kollupitiya Mahinda Sangarakhitta, handing over the casket containing the sacred relics to Basnayake Nilame Dhammika Attygalle.
