With reference to the news item titled, “Gota a challenge, but Sajith will make it a close race” on the front page of Lankadeepa and Daily Mirror yesterday, Economic Reforms and Public Distribution Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva has sent us a clarification saying that he never spoke to the journalist who had written the story, on the matter. He had said in his letter that though journalist Sujith Hewajulige had attempted to talk to him over the phone several times he was unable to respond since he was busy.
