- 247 cases were reported in Colombo yesterday
- Total number of COVID-19 cases in Colombo surged to 17,728, since the second wave from October 4

The majority of patients among the 547 COVID-19 cases reported in the country yesterday, are from the Colombo District, it is reported.
And the highest number of those cases were reported in the Dematagoda, Kirulapona and Wellawatta areas.
Accordingly, 247 cases were reported in Colombo yesterday and among them 121 patients were identified in Dematagoda, while 23 were from Kirulapona and 18 from Wellawatta.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Colombo since the second wave from October 4, surged to 17,728.
In addition, 124 cases in the Gampaha District, 44 from Kandy and 39 from Kalutara Districts were reported yesterday.
