Animal sacrifice is a very sensitive social issue. For some it is a sin. But for some other it is a sacred. This issue has to be addressed very deeply and full attention needed by the top in order to develop a matured multicultural society.

That is the difference man! When you kill for meat there is a purpose but when you kill for sacrifice what is the purpose? Even if killed for meat, it also has to be done in humane way. Of course the best is to be vegetarian if you are true rilious person or want to minimize your carbon foot print.

Mervin Silva is extorting hundreds of innocent human being on daily basis and is doing the bigger crimes in the Country as whole. He is the God Father of Crimes in Sri Lanka and is a bloody murderer (in the sense of killing the feelings of Innocent Human Beings) …
Killing animals for the good course (i.e.: eating and prayers) are acceptable and is allowed by almost all the religious scriptures. Try to understand the value of so ….
Moreover, he and his family members should stop consuming non-veg. in the first place and also insist his gangsters and supporters to stop eating non-veg. Most of his rowdies are fond of Meat, Fork, Chicken, Egg and Fish.

I appeal to Mr Gotabaya Rajapakse to whom I have a great respect to intervene personally and find a resolution to this recurring problem. The Muslims will celebrate their Eid ul Adha festival during the second week of November and I fear a fluid situation could arise at that time as well if arbitrary interpretations of the law, like the one Dr Mervin engages in is not stopped permanently.
