A Poson Dansela was held today at Makola for the eleventh year by Chairman of the Karuna Group Karunadasa Kodithuwakku. The ceremony included the release of 50 heads of cattle from slaughter and a blood donation camp. (Pix by Nisal Baduge)

Whilst appreciating the fact that this gentlemen has saved animals and also had a blood donation camp which are fantastic things to do. But i wounder is giving this very lavish meal to all these people really the meaning of Poson Poya. Are we not supposed give to the poor, weak and needy. Whats the point of feeding people who have enough food already. This is just my point of view.
