    Ando Tuesday, 09 April 2013 08:34 AM

True, Pluto! And I was thinking this: When they say "Ravana Balaya", do they believe that there was a king called Ravana in SL? Or do they believe in Hindu mythology? Whatever the case, why do this group of monks want a name that is no where relevant to Buddhism?

    Grace Tuesday, 09 April 2013 08:41 AM

It is said Rama is an Ayiyan and Ravana is a Tamil.

    Pluto Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:00 AM

Please do not disgrace the Buddha, the greatest philosopher of this world. He would never accept this type of behavior from monks.

    Grace Tuesday, 09 April 2013 08:43 AM

It is said Rama is an Ayiyan and Ravana is a Tamil.

Prof Wickramatillake Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:27 AM

They should change the name soon as they are fast exposing that they dont know the basics that Ravana was an Indian too!!

Kit udugama Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:30 AM

Please do not ban Tamil movies. When ever I am constipated, I watch a Tamil movie ,then I get a very good loose motion,

Van der Merwe Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:29 AM

    Oh No.....
Tamil film industry will be closed now.
Ravana himself a Hindu. and the Ravana myth was from the Indians.
Enough bluffing Morons cannot fool the people more.

Kit udugama Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:31 AM

We respect our monks. They protect Buddhism from terrorists

    raviraj Tuesday, 09 April 2013 09:05 AM

    Niranjan Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:39 AM

Tit-for-tat is definitely not the answer.
Especially, when it involves inciting hatred amongst our communities.
This is exactly what the remnants of the LTTE want!
It is unfortunate that the extremist groups in SL cannot see the repercussions of their actions!
Cool heads are the need of the hour...

    Pluto Tuesday, 09 April 2013 07:39 AM

So you are one of the pin heads that watch these stupid movies. Better read a book.

    raviraj Wednesday, 10 April 2013 09:58 AM

if they stop these tamil movies, the local film industry will suffer. How will they remake Sinhala movies then?

    Pluto Tuesday, 09 April 2013 06:39 AM

So the cat is out of the bag for BBS. Now this?
