Disabled war heroes today staged a protest in front of the Colombo Fort Railway Station blaming the government for not receiving their pensions. During the protest the road in front of the Fort Railway station was closed. Pix by Kushan Pathiraja

    If their salaries are not paid it is a serious matter for the government to attend ASAP. However this appear to be organised by some one and that must be investigated. How did they come here?

    Instead of worrying about how they arrived in here, think about the dire situation these people are in due to non payment of their pension.
