Awareness campaign to protect Thalangama wetlands

Some environmental activists and other concerned groups organized an awareness campaign yesterday at the Thalangama lake bridge to make the public aware of the impending threats that the proposed highway project along the Thalangama Environmental Protection Area have posed on the Ramsar accredited Thalangama wetlands and surrounding paddy fields.
