Delmege Forsyth Sales Conference ends on high note

The annual Sales Conference of Delmege Forsyth & Co Ltd marked a splendid success at the Pegasus Reef Hotel, Wattala recently.
Over 300 members of the Delmege Forsyth & Co Ltd’s island wide sales team which were behind the success of the company over the past financial year were present at the occasion.

The conference also saw the company’s top officials unveiling future plans and the company’s success story of the 2014/2015 year period was reviewed in detail during the glamour-filled event.

Delmege Forsyth & Co Ltd Director/Group Chief Executive Officer Nuwan Wimalana proudly announced the company’s steady growth in the past few months and also enlightened those who were present about the sector-wise performance. He then went onto hare his ideas about cost reduction methods of day to day functions of the business which are highly essential in the competitive business world.

He also unveiled the company theme for 2015/2016 financial year “Reaching new heights”.

The company’s National Sales Manager Priyanka Molligoda, in his speech, mentioned about last year’s general trade sector performance and commended the efforts of their valuable distributors’ effort toward achieving the company’s targets.

The company’s Brand Managers, in their speeches during the event, explained the objectives of each brand and support to be given for each during the next financial year.

The day’ proceedings came to its climax when a glamorous awards ceremony rewarded the best among the best who contributed towards the success of Delmege Forsyth & Co Ltd over the pat year. Among those who were rewarded, were most outstanding sales representatives and best distributors while the best channel was also rewarded.

The awards were presented by, Dinusha Yogagopalakrishnan (COO - Vallibal Group), Nuwan Wimalana (Group CEO – Delmege), Nadeesha Abeyrathne (GM - Delmege Consumer Cluster), Nihal Wijeratne (MD – Motha Confectionary Works) and Ganesh Deivanayagam (MD – Mayfair).
