Wedihiti Kanda artefacts robbed

The guardian of the Wedihiti Kanda Temple in Kataragama has complained to the police that artefacts of historic value had been robbed from the stores of the temple.

Ven. Kamburupitiye Vimalasara Thera told police that the robbery had taken place between March 16 and June 6 and he had come to know about the incident only yesterday. (Krishan Jeewaka Jayaruk)
